About Custom DJ

Hi, I’m Daz, and I made Custom DJ.

I’ve been DJing for 19 years and making my own music for over five. If you make music too, you’ll know the hard bit often isn’t finishing a track. It’s getting people to actually hear it.

You can’t just upload a song and hope any more. You need a video for Instagram, another for TikTok, something for YouTube, and each one takes time you’d rather spend making music.

When I went looking for tools to make simple music videos, the ones I found weren’t great. A lot of them charged for things that should be basic. Music’s already an expensive hobby, and streams pay next to nothing, so paying again just to share a clip of your own track didn’t sit right with me.

So I built my own, and made it free for everyone.

Your music stays yours

Everything on Custom DJ runs in your own browser. Your artwork and tracks are never uploaded anywhere, not to me and not to anyone else. That matters when you’re sharing music that isn’t out yet. Nobody else gets a copy, so you don’t have to worry about your ideas ending up somewhere they shouldn’t.

How it stays free

It’s just me running this. Ads pay for the site and keep the tools free, and it’s going to stay free. No sign-up, no watermark.
